Welcome to The Brewers Rattlesden
The Brewers was re-opened in October 2018 out of love and determination to provide the most enjoyable eating and drinking experience possible. We are a family run pub, in our beautiful village of Rattlesden.
Our Head Chef, Matt, is a master of the menu. He likes to cook with fresh and sustainable local produce, when it is in season. Although we like to plan ahead, it can be quite challenging. Who would have known that the cold snap in March would delay this year’s wild garlic! What we can promise is at least four choices of starter, main and dessert and that the menus will change regularly to reflect the best that Suffolk has to offer that day.
Since opening we have achieved a Michelin Plate, 2 AA Rosettes as well as finding ourself in the GoodFood Guide and the Michelin Red Book.
We were delighted to start 2024 with the news that we were again named as one of Estrella Damm's 100 best gastropubs in the UK. Ranked no. 70, we are one of just three Suffolk pubs in the prestigious list recognised as a go-to source for the best pubs to dine at in the UK.
In October 2022, The Brewers was named as one of the best places to have a roast dinner in the UK by Muddy Stilettos, the biggest lifestyle site outside London; whilst in August 2022 The Times, picked out our "flagstone terrace" beer garden as one of the best places to go for a drink during the summer months.
So whether it is to sit by our log fire or enjoy Suffolk sunshine in our secluded garden, the team at The Brewers promises you a very warm welcome.
